Here in Uganda it is a world of great extremes. There are countless orphans abandoned everyday all around the country; too many to count and too many to help them all , and then there are the everyday Ugandans who push their survival 30 kilometers up long impossible hills just to feed their families with the cooked banana Motoke.
Teacher Jared gets a rare opportunity to train as a teacher at the Machakos Government teachers Training College.
He will be joining tomorrow 13/09/2011.
DAFF Society youth members expressed their feelings after the Business planning training in Kabwe which was held at KING GEORGE VI National College.Ten youths from DAFF Society allocated 5 hectares of land each and a structure on it. This is a break through for us and we are requesting all the nabuurs in agriculture and ICT to help us open our Website so that we can market our products and source for more support for our members and the community at large. we need also a 3 boreholes and solar pumps.
Help increase school attendances through good sanitation facilities in schools.
WE are sad to announce to you that one of our students has died and Burial is tomorrow Thursday 1st September 2011- 2 1/2 kilometers away from the school.
We have now put in place the front wall, metallic gate and window.
We have also put up 3 flushable toilets in place.We have even connected them to the main sewer system.
We shall be doing the final touches next week(plastering and fixing doors).
