Help Liberia Foundation School is currently in a rented house. This building does not really meet their needs, so they have purchased a piece of land where they are planning to build a school of their own.

They would like to find an architect who can help them create detailed building plans. Ideally this would be someone who already has experience of construction in a developing country and/or of school buildings.

Luhwahwa Youth Development Foundation (LUYODEFO) is seeking neighbors and the global community to join hands in saving the suffering and helpless children in Uganda. The aim is to complement the efforts W.O.R.C (USA) to ensure that the humanitarian rights and needs of the needy children are met. Our key partner, the World Orphanage Relief Corporation, W.O.R.C (www.orphcorp.org) has pledged to build a home for 50 children - hopefully to be fully funded by summer 2011, in addition to a donation of various items including shoes donated by SHARE OUR SOULS yet to arrive in Kampala, Uganda.

After a workshop arranged in Mukono which was about " Attracting More Volunteers to Our Projects" , Kawempe's LRs Mawanda Robert and Ochieng Kennedy had a meeting with Isaac Ssamba from Mukono who organised the workshop and brought an idea of starting a project that brings skills and funds together to help the undeprived communities in Uganda. For this task, we are looking for volunteers to conduct internet research to try and identify organizations that provide funding for school building projects in Uganda.
