In order for Hope Alive Uganda to gain support in the local community and around the world, people need to know that we exist and have access to information about the good work that we do.
For this task, Eddy is seeking the expertise of a marketing professional to help him write a marketing plan that can be carried out and revised each year. The goals of this plan are to:
1. Increase awareness of the needs of orphans in the local community and the importance of education.
2. Provide people with information about Hope Alive Uganda, and
FROM THE HOPE ALIVE UGANDA ACTION PLAN:
"The primary beneficiaries of the programme will be orphans and needy children in Kamuli district of both sexes from 8 - 23 year of age. We also target the teenagers especially girls who end up getting pregnancies at early ages and school drop out.
The target group will also include those children whose parents are alive but don’t have interest or potential to provide them with the necessary scholastic materials.

For this task, Eddy would like someone to assist him with submitting the website to different search engines to help the organization gain greater exposure.
Eddy would like to have a template developed that they can easily utilize to have business cards printed for the members of Hope Alive Uganda. Business cards would be very useful to them when they are out in the community seeking support and be used to provide others with their contact information. Eddy would like the cards to include the logo that is developed to represent the organization.
For this task, Eddy is looking for someone to develop a business card template so that it can be used to to print cards as needed.
Hope Alive Uganda would like to develop a brochure containing basic information about their organization that could be presented when making fundraising presentations, attending meetings in the community, provided to visitors or possibly prospective sponsors for the orphans they support.
Some basic information has been provided on the background tab of the village as well as on the organization website (a link to the website is located on the Overview tab on the bottom right hand side of the page).
The members of Hope Alive Uganda would like to have a logo designed to represent their organization. The hope is that this logo will be included on all marketing materials, letters and official communications from the organization. Eddy has envisioned their logo with a man in the center and two young children on either side with the organization name. Other creative ideas are welcome as well.
For this task, Eddy is looking for someone experienced in graphic design to create a Hope Alive Uganda logo.
St. Charles Special Needs School is looking for suggestions which will help them improve and sustain the school long-term. School officials and the local community wish to develop the school into a model institution for sustainable special education-one which addresses the needs of all children with disabilities and continuously promotes their inclusion as contributing members of our community.
For this task, we are seeking your ideas and input regarding how we can sustain the school financially over the long-term. All ideas are welcome.
St. Charles Special Needs School is located in Ghana. The school has 4 teachers, 2 professionally trained and 2 who are not. At the present time, there are 22 children with disabilities enrolled at the school. The school serves both boys and girls and children range in age from 5 to 25 years. Disabilities include; Down's Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, mobility impairments, visual impairments and speech problems. Some of the children are diagnosed with multiple disabling conditions.
Bramuel has asked the organizational members of Arrow Kenya to take time to review their strategic plan in order to make certain they are on target with the goals they set out to achieve. He asked me to post a copy of the plan to Nabuur to also solicit your comments and ideas.
For this task, we are asking our volunteers to review the strategic plan and provide any suggestions for revision or improvement that might be necessary to help the organization achieve their stated goals.
The Kimilili village needs someone or numerous people to help us establish contact with various organizations who can help sponsor some of our projects.
We are setting up projects such as literacy, nutrition, and HIV/Aids youth programs and we need financial and material support. Our difficulty is that we do not know enough about how such organizations work to feel capable of approaching them. We need help establishing contact with these organizations to ask them how we can become beneficiaries of their programs.
