SLINT-Uganda has registered the Gayaza Solar Home Lighting Project (http://www.1procentclub.nl/projects/solarhomelightingproject/ ) with the 1 procetclub: http://www.1procentclub.nl/ based in Netherlands in order to raise funds to expand its activities.
SLINT-Uganda would like project's resource network persons to help in mobilising friends, colleagues and wellwishers to support online the project with through the 1%club
The Turning Point program involves working with vulnerable young people in Githurai, Kenya and it's environs. The project has developed three projects to assist in realization of the program goals.
THE APPRETICESHIP IS ONE OF THE WAYS THE WORLD IS GETTINING PEOPLE TRAINED ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO CAN NOT MEET FORMAL EDUCATION AND EARN A LIVING SO A PROJECT OF THIS NATURE NEEDS TO BE ININTIATED AND SUSTAINED TO ENABLE THE LOCAL COMMUNITY CHANGE THEIR LIVELIHOOD.
Fountain Youth Group is looking for on-site volunteers to teach at local primary schools, and to provide life and business skills training to young people in the area.
Potential volunteers will need clear information on the projects, the work they will do, accommodation, costs, the local area etc.
They will also need to complete an application form providing details about themselves, their experience, and their reasons for wishing to volunteer.
Josephat has created a document which contains this information, and it is attached to this task.
Early this year we got in touch with one (person) who promised to help us market our bead products in the US the conversation between us was very sweet and promising not until 3rd may 2010 when we finally secured 2.1 million Uganda shillings equivalent to $1000 from a friend here in Uganda to help us ship our products to a friend in US (person) to sell for us as we had agreed of we sent 80 kgs of products worth $25000 unfortunately after she received the products our friendship has now cut off and now have no hope of getting back anything from our sweat how can we get back what belongs to us f
We need your help to identify potential buyers for the products created by Yoshinkhel Craft. Naturally, contacts with regular institutional buyers would be most helpful. You could help by contacting your local fair trade or woolen crafts shops, or also providing emails or websites of similar shops you might know.

kirc foundation has express it desire to own a projector to carry our it HIV/AID,TB and Malaria campaign in Ghana.The projector will help use to prensent the HIV/AIDs ,TB and Malaria eduation in the form of power point presentation and vidios in local language to make the idea behand the awareness campaign understandable.This will enable the organisation display some vidios of common STI related desease.By so doing will help cause attitudenal change and help reduce the number of PLWHIVA.Thank you.
