We would like to establish partnerships with child care centres around the world! Do you have contacts or ideas?
This can be very fruitful for both sides: One can establish penfriendships between the older children, have projects on the other country, etc. Yoshinkhel's children would also very much appreciate any kind of toys and material not needed anymore by others - and fundraising activities could also be initiated by other child care centres or parents in various countries :)
We would like to wish you all a very warm welcome to the Masaka Village! If you have just joined us, please take the time to introduce yourself here. Tell us a little bit about youself. If you have a specific skill set or specific interest in this project or a task noted above, please don't forget to tell us. We are very grateful that you have chosen to volunteer your time to help our village.
This space will be used for providing general project updates and information pertaining to the project as a whole that may not fit into the tasks noted above.
We wish to extend you a warm welcome from the beautiful village of Jinkfuin, located in Cameroon. We are very excited to be a part of the online community here at Nabuur and honored that you have taken an interest in volunteering to help our community prosper.
Please help us get to know you better by taking a moment to introduce yourself here and read about other members of our project team. If you have particular skills or expertise that might help in the tasks noted above, please don't hesitate to let us know.

For this task, we are seeking volunteers to assist us with conducting Internet research. We need your assistance to help us identify different organizations around the world (and in Cameroon) who provide financial support for building projects such as ours.
We intend to work from this list to begin making contacts with the organizations identified in hopes that financial support can be secured to build the additional classrooms onto the school.
In Yoshinkhel we have plenty of opportunities for individuals who would like to help the community not only over the computer, but also in the village itself as volunteers. How could we attract them? Or are you yourself interested?
Specifically we are looking for people to help with
1. developing the knitting program into a professional business
2. training the women in advanced knitting (or other professional skills)
3. designing/constructing the building
4. training the tutors of the school children
Try to find the organizations, their websites and see if they have funded building projects in Nepal. Please post the organization name, contact information, and any information about requirements for submitting funding proposals.
You are most welcome to the Busukuma village here at Nabuur! We are so happy that you've chosen to be a part of our project. We hope that you will take a few moments to introduce yourself here. Tell us a little bit about yourself, your experience, your interest in our village and spend some time getting to know the other volunteers.
We look forward to getting to know you and are so grateful that you're here.
