Posts about Project Management
We are currently designing a calendar from the wonderful images Sabina took from the women, children and Yoshinkhel itself. Who would help us to sell it in their surroundings???
It would be of great value if we get facilitator to help us link up with our neighbors.
Our Village is so disadvantaged in terms of economic development and education. A number of children have the potential but most of them end up dropping out of school due to lack of school fees.
The following is a description of this volunteer role on Nabuur:
Online Project Manager
Known on NABUUR.com as a "Facilitator"
In this unique and rewarding volunteer role, you will:
The HANDS IN SERVICE Organization is trying its best in making necklaces, bracelets and paintings to generate income for the organization. Currently, we have a very big number of necklaces and bracelets, but we do not have any market to sell our products. If we try to sell these items in the local market, they sell for very cheap and we are finding it impossible to raise enough money from them to support the organization.
While awaiting needs assessment results, we need a volunteer medical officer. Neighbors can you help us out.
We would like to conduct a health care needs assessment to inform our actions towards improved and adequate health care service delivery for a population of over 60,000 people. We would like your ideas on the basic elements/issues to focus in this needs assessment and kind of skills we would need for a good work.
This to request your support to review the attached project proposals and any advice for possible sources of support.
Review garden project's website and suggest how to make it more relevant http://cbsmgarden.weebly.com/
The website offers advice on how to start a sustainable garden. We are looking for your input on how to make it better, easier to understand and more relevant to the community in Kimilili. We would appreciate if you can share any additional information on best practices in gardening, irrigation, organic composting-anything that will help the community to grow its own food!
The Pastoralist Maasai Children are not able to easily access computer training due to the long distances they must travel to towns where classes are offered. Paul has spoken with the local council and they agreed to give them two acres for construction of a computer training center.
Our local representative and his team in Burundi have developed the idea to host a conference or a workshop in Buterere. The purpose of this will be to promote our higher learning school as well as to create a curriculum for courses. It will give youth, students, doctors, professors, etc to contribute to the development of this school and to share ideas and knowledge.
We will need finances to cover some expenses:
- Fanta or lemonade during pause
- Transportation of Doctors/Professors
- pay for a Conference Room
Entasupa! Greetings to all from the Maasai people in Kenya!
We are so pleased that you have chosen to join our village here at Nabuur and become part of the Kajiado volunteer team. We hope that you will take time to introduce yourself here. Please tell us where you are from and a little bit about your experience.
We look forward to getting to know you and are certain that if we join hands together, our project will be a success. Thank you again for being a part of making our dream a reality!
