Nakyerongosa village started a community resource centre after observing the need for such a facility in the area. The idea came about as a result of support from a retired community trainer who donated a few of his books because he wanted to give something back to the community. COMASA officials sensitised schools and community members about the programmes at the Centre. Since then people have realised the importance of the resource centre as a source of knowledge and it is making a world of difference for children whose schools are too poor to afford books.

Greetings to all the volunteers on Nabuur.
I want to commend the great work you all are doing.
I just registered my village on Nabuur, and as such I need help with writing projects to help the youths in my community.
I look at working in partnership to teach life saving skills to youths through Micro loans, agricultural projects such as animal husbandry, computer training for these youths.

I therefore plead with all volunteers who are goon in project writing to help me in this

For this task we are looking for volunteers to help us identify organizations that donate/supply books or possibly local publishing houses that we might contact to help provide enough books to adequately stock our library as well as establish an appropriate ratio of text and reading books to students at the village. Books should be written in English.

The organasation starting a vocational training programme , to teach
the children and women practical skills that will lead to improved
employment opportunities when they leave school.

we would like to expand this programme by introducing sewing classes,
so we need about 50 sewing machines.

The machines will also be used to make clothes which can be sold in
the local area. This will be a valuable source of income for the
school, an important step to long-term sustainability. They will also
be able to make school uniforms, which will be cheaper than buying

The PROJECT ROOM is a thread designated for updates and providing general information and other things that may not fit into the designated tasks above.

Welcome to this task, Help Design ICT course content for our prospective ICT learners. The course conntents should include word procesing, spreadsheets, internet, introduction to computer and databases should be accesible online.

Also to be developed is an online assesment (ICT skills testing) system (using PHP or Javascript).

The school board and management of Keframa Colllege intend to continue working in partnership with the Lango Youth Action for Development organization. The goal of this partnership will be to focus on development issues at a grassroots level one of which is promotion of income-generation activities to support the school.
