In the Khama village, there are a large number of youth who have never attended school. These youths have a talent for sports and games, especially football. We have established the VH-LAHA Football Club as a means to reach out to these youth.

In our community there are a high number of people living with HIV/AIDS as well as orphans who lack and need basic care. Because of this problem they suffer and die quickly.

VH-LAHA is planning to conduct a Home Basic Care Project. The aim of this project is to assist people living with HIV/AIDS as well as orphans that are lacking basic care by helping with things like meals, clothing, basic medical care, and education. Right now, our efforts are funded by financial contributions and donations from our members.

The project room is a space designated for providing general project information and updates as well as for asking general questions that may not fit into the designated tasks above.

For this task, we are looking for volunteers to conduct internet research to try and identify organizations that provide funding for school building projects in Uganda.

Please include the organization name, contact information, website addresses and any information about identified organization's particular requirements for submitting funding proposals.

We are in Wambaale Village With Wambaale Primary school which currently has a population of 400 students, but without enough sitting desks. So we are looking for an neighbour who can provide knowledge on how the school can manage to get desk for the children

We are considering all possible means of income generation to help our school and the students that we serve. We are seriously considering income-generation activities such as raising poultry, establishing a demonstration garden at the school and teaching tailoring and/or other artisan skills to our students.
