The tourism committee plans to provide training to the local members of the community to increase their awareness about the project and help them better understand how they can meet the needs of the visitors who come to tour the local area.
Can you find examples of similar community-based training programs that help teach the importance of environmental responsibility as well as ways to promote a safe, friendly and comfortable environment for our visitors to enjoy their stay in Nepal?
Please share your ideas or resources to help us develop this training program.

This task could use YOUR attention!
All it takes is just adding the web address as your e-mail signature, posting the link on your website, advertising in any way you can think. the more awareness that is created, the more likelihood we will have of finding a few donors to help us meet our goals.

I want to congratulate you Esther for the awareness you are creating in the minds of people in your community.HIV and AIDS is a very very big issue in Africe.You can imagine down the line how parents have been dying leaving thier siblings to sufer.The cost of brying the bodies very expensive leaving the children with nothing to eat.HIV AIDS has no age limite.
Try to create the same awareness in the minds of all age mates.School going children from primary level to secondary level.This will put weight to the capacity of the awareness.

Which governmental and religious bodies have you worked with so far? What have they done to help? The issue you are addressing is a country-wide issue, have you tried writing petitions to your local government chairman at the local level to see what he can do about it. I know that there can be corrupt leaders, but aren't there education ministries under the Minister of Education's control that you can approach - not as a n individual, maybe as a collective- in order to show that this issue affects your society as a whole.
