About the blog:

I realized today that if there is a picture attached to a blog post, the post ends before I get to the picture. I guess I have never scrolled down far enough to notice there were pictures attached. I honestly never noticed a picture in any of the posts since you've started posting regularly...I guess that either is a comment about the blog design or my own lack of looking, but if I've missed the pictures this long-others may be missing them too.

This week, Wes Downer will leave the USA for Nairobi. Wes is a documentary filmmaker and will be working with Arrow Web Hospital for the next few weeks. Wes will also be guest writing on the Arrow Web Hospital blog. We hope that Wes can help bring attention to the needs of the hospital and gather greater attention so they obtain the equipment they need to better provide for the medical needs of the people in Kayole-Soweto.

Hello everyone,
I've attached the first draft of a report drafted by Jean-Claude regarding the developments at our future higher school. We need this to be edited for spelling and grammar and tidy it up so it can be posted to our blog at Wordpress, and, once our website is created, on our website (DSNews.tv - potentially).

Please view the document, make changes, and resubmit to this task. Thanks for your help with this!

Hi Peter,

Thanks for this summary. Yes, I think that it covers quite well the different objectives. Of course one of the target groups are also "normal" people, maybe interested in Uganda, development etc. I think that especially the youths´ stories might be interesting to shed light on the living conditions and the work in a village like Wakitaka.

What do you think, given these target groups? Do you have any ideas on how to promote the blog; facebook and twitter are the first that come to my mind, but maybe we also find other ideas.

Maria

Hi everybody,

Maybe we also could start with a blog. It might be less work and easier to update and to use as a diary for the youths. What do you think?

Maria

Pat-thanks so much for your response. That would be fantastic if you can help with this. I sent you a private message here on Nabuur with some more details.

I look forward to working with you on this.

Jennifer

Hi everyone-

I got to speak with Min earlier today. He is presently in Surkhet and plans to be back in Kathmandu tomorrow. He said he has taken many pictures and was able to get them developed. He will scan them so we can post updates once he returns.

We talked a little more about getting volunteers to come to Nepal and help on the ground. Min is very interested in gaining this type of support for ECC.

Hi Susan! Welcome back!

The new website is located here: www.arrowwebhospital.org

Mary has created a document which is posted a little further down in this string that summarizes the suggested edits. If you would like to look through the website and see if you find anything that isn't mentioned, I think it would be helpful to have another set of eyes. I have looked at it so many times I feel like I am probably overlooking things that might be obvious to others.

Hi everyone-

I hope that you are all enjoying the weekend. I have been snowed in!

I had the opportunity to talk with Bramuel this morning and wanted to give you all a brief update regarding the major events of the past week:
