The devastating flood in Pakistan had destroyed more than half of the economy of the country.The country which was already facing several other crises including terrorism,poverty,corruption,illiteracy has now hit by another challenge in the form of flood.At this crucial time ,the world has pledge to help Pakistan in any form .
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Pakistan on Sunday August 16 2010 to boost relief efforts as concerns grew about the 20 million people made homeless in one of the worst disasters to hit the country.
The people of Dromankese and the Town Committee did moved forward to establish a Diary Project for the community. An appeal was made to a Dutch Humanitarian Foundation, Child Care Afrika to help establish this Millennium Development Goal Project. This project started last year, and till now, the 10 acres land has been fenced with Barb wires to keep the cows on the land. A Caretaker`s house and the Cows Shed are also completed. The grass on the land are standing high waiting for the Cows.

I have received questions on the status of the pit latrines that we are trying to improve through provision of sanplats. I have therefore attached some photos of an unsafe latrine and sanplats that have been casted to enable households improve their status.

INTEGRATED COMMUNITY MANAGED WATER, HYGIENE AND SANITATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

COMASA has been working with Nakyerongosa community to increase access among the people to safe water, latrines and good hygiene practices. Some success has been achieved and there has been increased awareness among the people of the need for good hygiene practices and a reduction in the incidences of diseases associated with drinking unsafe water and poor sanitation and hygiene practices. A lot has been done and we are very grateful to all the partners that have continued to give us advice and support.
ADULT LITERACY CENTER

1st April was a very exciting day in my village. Parents were in class embarking on a life changing Programme. They commenced their classes as they were placed in grades according to their abilities.
72 parents characterized with 90% of women were enrolled in school at Framar School of Excellence. They are responding very well to learning and we are hopeful that our objective shall be met.
They have strongly put up a challenge that they want to be wearing uniforms so that they really look like students. It is a fair request especially that it is coming from them.
The description of the PELLITAL project

Agnam-Goly (http://www.agnam-goly.org) is an ancient village bordering the Sahara desert in Senegal, West Africa. Its 3,143 inhabitants make a living from herding cattle and farming the banks of the Senegal river. The women of Agnam-Goly supplement their familes' incomes by running their own small enterprises. Most of them earn less than two dollars a day. That's what brings Julia (an American based volunteer) and I to think about how we could help the women of my village and we came about the idea to propose Facebook users to make micro loans to the entrepreneur women of Agnam-Goly:
