ARCHITECT WANTED to design school buildings

Status: Finished
Step:
1

Help Liberia Foundation School is currently in a rented house. This building does not really meet their needs, so they have purchased a piece of land where they are planning to build a school of their own.

They would like to find an architect who can help them create detailed building plans. Ideally this would be someone who already has experience of construction in a developing country and/or of school buildings.

If you are an architect and would like to take on this task, please post here.

Project: MMCRHI-ZAMBIA

The Japanese Embassy recently contacted Bramuel by phone to inform him that they want to come out and visit the hospital again early next year. They told him that a date will be arranged and confirmed via letter. Bramuel explained that if they consider funding a project in Kenya that they will always arrange to come see the land. The person who called was a new person that Bramuel has not heard from before, so we remain really hopeful that the embassy will be able to provide the support needed to build.

Kind regards-

Jennifer

Bramuel recently saw Resper from the Embassy of Japan in Kenya. She said that she has not had any word yet from her boss on the status of Arrow Web Hospital's proposal, but it is common for this to take some time. For now we remain hopeful that no news is good news! We will continue to keep you updated on the status of this proposal as we learn more.

Kind regards-

Jennifer

Garry has been informed that he can make his donation through the Help Nepal Network branch in Australia and that they will direct this money to Krishna Primary School. Min has submitted the remaining information required by Help Nepal Network to provide additional information in support of the proposal we submitted for construction of the remaining two classrooms. At this point, everything is still in progress and we do not yet have an answer about if they will supply funding for the other half of the estimated cost.

Pastor Phylis and Rev Wasike thank you for your willingness to assist with this. Bramuel's computer is currently down at the hospital due to a virus, so he has to go to the Internet Cafe in order to get online. I sent him a message this evening with your contact information. Pastor Phylis if you could please send me a private message with information on how to best reach you, I will make sure I get this to Bramuel.

Thank you both again for your willingness to assist with this.

All the best-

Jennifer

Help compose a letter of intent

Status: Finished
Step:
2

Recently, Bramuel visited the Japanese Embassy in Kenya to inquire about funding for the new hospital construction. The Embassy in turn sent a representative to visit the hospital. They were very impressed with the overall organization and invited Arrow Web Hospital to submit a letter of intent to the Embassy. If this goes well, they may then be invited to submit a full proposal.

For this task, we are looking for experienced writers who can work with Bramuel to compose the letter of intent. Here are two resources that may be useful to help you get started:

Status: Needs urgent help
Step:

Us all of are aware on the challenge we are facing this year that we need to put up even if is a temporary blog to make sure that city council can not take away the Land which was donated to Arrow Web Hospital a few years ago so that we can build our own facility. Having our own facility will allow us to free up about $500, now spent on rent, that we can then invest in making ongoing improvements to our medical facility. The hospital has been told that we need to do something to develop this property this year, or we risk losing it.
