In an online environment where many cannot personally visit our village, it is oftentimes difficult to relay the reality of the situation on the ground without pictures. At this time, our organization does not have access to a digital camera. This presents an added expense each time we want to share pictures with you, or show pictures of things that are accomplished.

Do you have an old digital camera laying around that is no longer of use to you? If it is still in good working order, we would be very grateful if you would be willing to donate it to our organization.

Dr. Lucy Steinitz of Stephen Lewis Foundation visited Kabondo on 1st and 2nd this month of November 2008 to carry out an assesment visit for possible support of the children's welfare and support project in Kabondo. In the course of this assesment she met the board of Kabondo Poverty Alleviation Organization (KPAO), the volunteers attached to the organization and the beneficiaries.

Today 29th. 08.08 we received a call from the Humanitarian couples that our proposal was funded and we are given 8 sawing machines, 12 stools, 4 cutting tables and 2 office chairs plus money for buying the assortments, it was a wonderfully morning for all the entire members of the organization and to the community.
