Dear neighbours
Thanks for the great work you are doing, contributions, discussion and participation among others here at nabuur. we are sorry that we have been quiet for sometime because, we have been in holidays and and since we have resumed studies, we are back to active participation, discussion and contributions etc. Being a new term, we have many challenges and we need your advises, contributions and discussions towards them. such challenges are;- school fees for orphans, feeding, scholastic materials and salary for teachers and non teaching staffs. So you are welcome.

Joanne,

In the first post in this thread, you have mentioned a lot of different items required for the village. Each of these items will involve a certain expenditure.

In case the village is far from self-sustenance, a greater focus on this aspect is required at this stage. To begin with, the most basic needs are food and water. To what extent are these needs met? Do people grow their own food, or do they buy it?
