Makalu Arun Social Trek (MAST) a registered non profit distributing trekking company has been established in Khandbai in Sankhuwasabha District of Eastern Nepal in 2010 by Sankhuwasabha Education Scholarship Foundation (SESF).
MAST would like to offer our guests a unique and alternative trekking service around Makalu and Arun Valley region, of Nepal, a mostly untouched trekking area where the skyline is a panorama of rugged Himalayan peaks including Mt Everest, Mt. Kanchanjunga, Mt.Makalu and other peaks above 8,000m.

Sankhuwasabha Education Scholarship Foundation(SESF) has been trying to support the poorest,helpless,orphaned children to go to School throught the following different programs for the poorest children:
- Individual Sponsorship Program
- Scholarship Distribution from SESF General Fund
- Khandbari Orphanage Support Program
1. Under the individual sponsorship program 22 children have been sponsored from different individuals. They have been going to different English boarding school around Khjandbari area.

Luhwahwa Youth Development Foundation (LUYODEFO) is seeking neighbors and the global community to join hands in saving the suffering and helpless children in Uganda. The aim is to complement the efforts W.O.R.C (USA) to ensure that the humanitarian rights and needs of the needy children are met. Our key partner, the World Orphanage Relief Corporation, W.O.R.C (www.orphcorp.org) has pledged to build a home for 50 children - hopefully to be fully funded by summer 2011, in addition to a donation of various items including shoes donated by SHARE OUR SOULS yet to arrive in Kampala, Uganda.

Hi Ron, hi ALL!
Thank you Ron for your good summary of the years in Matopeni on Nabuur! It is good to have you in the village, you remember a lot of things which had happened before many of us has started here as neighbours.
Now how to continue the work? As I can see we have at least three central tasks, maybee four.
1) The equipment of the primary school. We have a pretty building, but what is still needed inside? Stephen, we need to be informed about the needs. Could you tell us what do you have in school now and what should be done.
