Posts about partnership
Hi all-I have really been pushing the last few days to get this last $146 raised by year-end. With 2-more days to go, I was wondering if you all might be able to contribute a story, possibly something about one of the women who worked on the hats for the children in Gamauli, the impact the knitting business has had on her life...maybe a story of how the women felt when they saw the picture of the children at the school with the hats they made??
Hi everyone-
I am so happy to report that things continue to go very well with our fundraising at GiveMeaning.com. We received several more donations today and are now $295 USD from reaching our goal of $800. At our current rate, it is possible for us to make goal by the end of the week. Our project has been posted for just a week, so we have made amazing progress!
Hi all-
I spoke with the guys at GiveMeaning tonight and our proposal is now a project and can begin fundraising. I posted the following as a news story in the Gamauli village:

Tue, 2008/11/18 - 01:39 —Hi everyone-
I am thrilled to report that in just about a day and a half we were able to achieve all 100 of the required votes for our proposed partnership to move forward with fundraising on the Give Meaning site. I am waiting to hear from the Give Meaning staff about what needs to be done next to begin the process.
Thank you so much to all who took the time to vote and get us here so quickly.
I will post more information as soon as I receive it.
With sincere thanks-
Jennifer
We made it through the first part of the fundraising process on Give Meaning! We achieved 100 votes of support in record time. I am waiting to hear from the Give Meaning staff about how to go about the next step so that we can start fundraising.
Thank you to everyone who took time to vote. I'll post additional information as soon as I get it.
Jennifer
