Find organisations and networks to share information on sustainable agriculture and rural development

CARDI would like to link up with organisations and individuals to share information on sustainable agriculture and rural development. This could be by forming direct partnerships or by joining common-interest networks, both within Uganda and internationally.
Through these links we hope to gain new knowledge and ideas which will enable us to expand our activities and make our work with local farmers more effective. We would also like to pass our own experience on to others.
Identify & Develop a List of School Contacts for Networking

For this task:
- We are looking for volunteers to help us identify other post-secondary education projects in Uganda that we might be able to learn from.
- We are also interested in identifying organizations that promote international partnerships between educational institutions.
Please include the organization name and appropriate contact information including address, phone and/or email address.
Just a quick update to let everyone know what's happening:
After being told that the funds had been transferred from GiveMeaning to the ECC bank account on Saturday, Min went to the bank a few days later and was told no transfer had been received. I followed up with the GiveMeaning staff who informed me there had been a problem with the transfer, but they were able to get that worked out. A few days ago, Min checked the bank again and the funds were there.

Barbara Munyaruguru posted the following message in the Kagulu village recently. As you will see, she works in Kamuli, so I thought that it might be good for you talk with her to see if she may be able to provide any assistance to the children that you work with. Please look over her website to learn more about the programs they offer.

I am really happy to report that we have achieved the $800 fundraising goal this morning! I have sent an inquiry to the GiveMeaning support team about the next steps involved in transferring the funds. I am hopeful that we'll be able to get the money transferred as soon as possible. Thanks so much to everyone for your support with votes, telling others about the project and for your kind donations. I can't wait to see pictures of the children when they get the rest of the items!
Thanks again!

Hi all-I have really been pushing the last few days to get this last $146 raised by year-end. With 2-more days to go, I was wondering if you all might be able to contribute a story, possibly something about one of the women who worked on the hats for the children in Gamauli, the impact the knitting business has had on her life...maybe a story of how the women felt when they saw the picture of the children at the school with the hats they made??
