I am happy to work on these together, but would like to chat with you first so that I understand the needs and priorities of the project. This will make it a lot easier to work on. Each opportunity has different requirements that we will need to follow.

I received the following message today in response to my inquiry about receipt of our proposal:

"I am pleased to confirm safe receipt of your proposal - which will be included in the next batch of applications to be considered by the Grants Committee in mid to late February."

Still no word from Africa Diaspora on receipt of that one.

If you follow the link that I previously posted to the Masaka village, there is a list of several different resources that focus on providing bicycles to developing countries. I would like to get 1-2 volunteers to go through the list and make contact with these organizations via email, or if proposal requirements are listed on the organization's website, to begin working up a draft proposal. Some of these organizations specifically target health care projects, so this would be perfect.

Hi everyone-

I was able to talk briefly with Min this morning. He is still in Dailekh and will be returning to Kathmandu maybe tomorrow. He had exciting news about access to water at the school. Apparently during his trip, he was able to visit a local market and talked with them about providing water to the school between the hours of 10 AM-4 PM. They agreed to do this for free. He will post more information as soon as he returns, but I thought that was an exciting development.

Just a brief update:

Bramuel talked a couple of days ago with Stephen the LR of the Matopeni project about Kitchen Table Charities based on the UK. We are currently working on revising the African Diaspora Proposal to fit with their requirements in order to request assistance with some of the additional lab equipment that is needed at the hospital.

African Diaspora Medical Project Proposal-this has been submitted, but to date we haven't heard anything yet.
