Bramuel informed me that the funds from the Safaricom Foundation grant have been dispersed. The supplier where some of the needed dental equipment can be purchased hopes to be able to deliver the equipment to the hospital later this week. Arrow Web Hospital hopes to begin limited dental services the week of December 1st and also plans to add a Dentist to the medical team.

Bramuel has heard back from the Safaricom Foundation. They have accepted his request to use the grant funds toward purchasing some of the needed dental equipment. He will then be required to report back to them. At the present time, he is waiting on an agreement form from them so that they can transfer the funds granted into the hospital bank account. Bramuel will update again once this is received. This is very good news and we are very grateful to the Safaricom Foundation for their support of the hospital.

Bramuel has just informed me that Arrow Web Hospital was awarded a grant from the Safaricom Foundation (www.safaricomfoundation.org) in the sum of around $2,000 USD. Bramuel had submitted a proposal to them about 2 years ago for the hospital beds that were needed. Since we have since obtained those beds via support from Friends of Kenya, Bramuel is checking with the organization to see if they will allow him to use this money toward the purchase of a portion of the needed dental equipment. We hope very much that they will support this request.
