Strategic Plan

Posts about Strategic Plan

A big thank you to Jackie O'Neal for all her work with Bramuel revising the strategic plan. This task will now be closed.

I am stalling this task this evening because as I stated the other day, I really believe the hospital board needs to spend some time on the plan and revise it according to current priorities before we have someone fully review it. Some of what was listed in the original plan no longer applies, so without some revision by the Board I fear we'd be wasting time reviewing things that need taken out and missing some of what needs added.

I will continue to work with Bramuel on this for now and once it gets revised we'll open this up again. I appreciate the offer to help review it!

Jackie-there is a copy of the entire plan as it exists where it says "attached files" right under the task description. It's easy to miss because it blends in so much with the tags.

Honestly, this plan is now 2+ years old and I don't know how much good it would really do to review it at this point because there is much that needs to be changed and no longer accurate.

Hi Joseph,

Sorry I haven’t replied sooner. I’ve been doing some more research and have found that there are in fact some similar home-based medical care programmes in other regions of India. At the moment your plans are basic and you will need to further develop them. Any organisation (Indian or foreign) who might consider helping you will need as much info as possible. The sooner you put this together- the better chance you have of attracting willing partners.

Tejanath has finished translation of the Strategic Plan that he prepared. I have attached it here for review/comment.

Hi Carolyn-

I actually talked with Tejanath a couple weeks ago and asked him if he could post the plan here as well, but the reason he hasn't is because it was written in Nepali and he had to translate it before he could. I'm not sure how far along he is with the translation, but he planned to work on it.

Review of the Hospital Strategic Plan

Status: Finished
Step:

Bramuel has asked the organizational members of Arrow Kenya to take time to review their strategic plan in order to make certain they are on target with the goals they set out to achieve. He asked me to post a copy of the plan to Nabuur to also solicit your comments and ideas.

For this task, we are asking our volunteers to review the strategic plan and provide any suggestions for revision or improvement that might be necessary to help the organization achieve their stated goals.
