Cathy and Tejanath-I've been reading through your work on this brochure and you both have done such a wonderful job! Tejanath I really think it is very representative of your pride in the local area and the experience that await anyone who chooses to visit. I am very impressed!
I hope that you gain a lot from your trip to Kathmandu. I will be eager to hear about it.
Kind regards-
Jennifer
Tourism Awareness Training

The tourism committee plans to provide training to the local members of the community to increase their awareness about the project and help them better understand how they can meet the needs of the visitors who come to tour the local area.
Can you find examples of similar community-based training programs that help teach the importance of environmental responsibility as well as ways to promote a safe, friendly and comfortable environment for our visitors to enjoy their stay in Nepal?
Please share your ideas or resources to help us develop this training program.
Find examples of tourism packages in Nepal

The first tourists have now trekked through Sankhuwasabha and visited various sites around Khandbari. One of the recommendations received was for the tourism committee to work on developing specific tourism packages.
The tourism committee would very much like to view examples of tourism packages already offered throughout Nepal. As a tourist, what do you look for in a tourism package? Help us find good examples to assist us in developing our own.
Find examples of successful ecotourism camps and organizations supporting ecotourism start-ups

My village wants to start a campsite at the foot of Nguruman hills (Entasopia).
For this task, we are seeking volunteers to help us find examples of successful ecotourism projects and organizations that provide support (financial or otherwise) to promote the development of ecotourism projects such as ours.
just an idea: local staff should set up and run the medical project, but once the project has reached an official status one could consider to interest of volunteers fe via an organisation as

Many young people in Europe nowadays are interested in a combination of traveling and doing something usefull.
Hi everyone, I did a bit of Google search on Homestay business in India and found that in Kerela homestay is a very popular option!! That's the good news.
Below are some of the links I looked at.
Joseph- if you could look at one or two of these websites and give us an idea of what type of homestay facility you had in mind? It's time to gather some information about your locality and what is possible (and not possible) to offer tourists

Provide advice about a home-stay tourism business in Kerela, India

Whilst we continue to provide Joseph and HREASEDC with information, contacts, and links to organisations who can help with setting up a home-based medical care program, we would like to explore the possibilities of setting up a home-stay tourism business to generate income for the medical program.
Home-stay is an accommodation option where tourists pay a small amount of money and stay with local people to experience their culture and way of life.

Hi everyone!
Tejanath has been working hard on the tourism business and has developed the attached brochure which has been revised since the original work done in this task. He'd like for you to have a look and offer any comments/suggestions for improving it.
