Bus for the practicum for nurses training.

One of the basic requirements for nurses/midwifery training is a bus for practicum. With this, students can be taken other major hospitals for their practicals. We are looking for a possibility of acquiring a second hand or used bus with capacity of 50-60 seats to support us in this training. There may be institutions out there who have used but still sound and in good condition who could donate this to us. I a m inviting neighbors to discuss ways in which we can acquire a bus for our nurses training.
Improving Quality of Training of Nurses/Midwives

The nurses' school is operational and has some basic resources that include some staffs, staffs’ accommodation, dormitories, classroom space, demonstration space, some furniture, small library, lighting, lorry for transport, health centre, water source and land.

We will discuss the terms of condition of service with interested people. You can express your interest here or can contact us through pacodet@yahoo.com

To raise the funds necessary to start this program, Helen has posted a project proposal to GiveMeaning.com. The proposal is located here:

Is there a parent group for the students presently enrolled at the school?
I think for the disability awareness program, it will be important first to build a strong network among the parents/guardians of the children enrolled. They will be the strongest advocates for outreach to other parents in the community who may not be sending their child with a disability to school.
I reviewed messages related to your rabbit project and would like to hear more from Christopher.
You started with 3 rabbits on 18 Nov 2008. How are you keeping the records; e.g.
dates of deliveries and how many kits born;
the total number of rabbits generated by the system (alive and dead)
I have a rabbit project with schools in Kenya.

People will easily assimilate those skills which are closely linked with the work they have done in the past. For example, a person with a background in farming will easily acquire the skills required for most farm-related activities.
Acquiring skills in other areas can of course be successfully done, but the level of difficulty to learn will be a bit higher in such cases.
Different people might have different skills in your group, or the level of particular skills may vary from one person to another.
