How provision of safe and clean water brought meaning to my life, Nakyerongosa, Uganda
Thu, 2012/01/26 - 20:10 —VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Center for HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Disease Research (CHISTRE) is respectfully requesting supports to raise funds to fund the Catch Them Young (CTY) program. CHISTRE is currently engaged in a battle against HIV/AIDS in Oguta, Imo State, Nigeria, and the CTY program will spread awareness and knowledge among the most at risk population. Statistics have shown that there is a higher prevalence of HIV/AIDS among the rural populations of Imo State, and the young generation is most at risk due to lack of education and awareness of the disease and issues surrounding it.
Help Define Steps Needed to Install Clean, Safe Water, Hygiene & Sanitation Facilities for 2 Local Schools

The hygiene and sanitation condition in the two schools, Bukondo and Katiti Primary schools is very poor and pathetic, as is the water situation. In these two schools, the pupils waste a lot of time searching for water. For example, in Bukondo Primary School, pupils spend 50 minutes to the communal water source. The two schools have pit latrines though they are in a very poor condition.
Grant proposal writer needed

We need an integrated project to teach literacy skills in local languages as part of community improvement focused on generating income, preserving the environment, addressing local health concerns, promoting peace and conflict resolution, and encouraging education for adults and children.
The project should build on the routine activities of the community, farming; small business; etc. Please help us with every idea(s) to develop this project proposal.
SUPPORT OVC PROGRAM

Luhwahwa Youth Development Foundation (LUYODEFO) is seeking neighbors and the global community to join hands in saving the suffering and helpless children in Uganda. The aim is to complement the efforts W.O.R.C (USA) to ensure that the humanitarian rights and needs of the needy children are met. Our key partner, the World Orphanage Relief Corporation, W.O.R.C (www.orphcorp.org) has pledged to build a home for 50 children - hopefully to be fully funded by summer 2011, in addition to a donation of various items including shoes donated by SHARE OUR SOULS yet to arrive in Kampala, Uganda.
Help with project writing

Greetings to all the volunteers on Nabuur.
I want to commend the great work you all are doing.
I just registered my village on Nabuur, and as such I need help with writing projects to help the youths in my community.
I look at working in partnership to teach life saving skills to youths through Micro loans, agricultural projects such as animal husbandry, computer training for these youths.
I therefore plead with all volunteers who are goon in project writing to help me in this
Thanks
