Kimsorn must pay $1/hr to use the Internet. His transportation cost from his village to Battambang province two ways is $5. He has tried to make himself available for regular communication at least 3x per week. Kimsorn has been exploring alternative options to reduce his travel time and most importantly the associated costs.
CYDC has identified as part of their 3-year strategic plan that they would like to establish a community "cow bank" to help increase animal cultivation in Moung Russey. They are also considering the same with pigs.
For this task, we are seeking volunteers who can advise them on feeding, daily care, when and how to sell, etc. We are also looking for information on organizations who may help CYDC in achieving this goal. If you locate such an organization, please post information pertaining to their requirements here as well.
Households in Moung Russey are constantly at risk from the threat of food poverty and lack of income. Families who own land often do not produce sufficient quantities to fulfill the family’s dietary requirements, and many landless families are wholly reliant on wages to buy food. These wages are low, and workers are often the victims of exploitation or lack employment. Villagers routinely seek work outside of the commune due to lack of employment opportunities within the commune.
We have several orphan children in our school some of them can even sustain them selfs and because this the school wants to create a school sponsorship program at for this orphans at school level,we need volunteers to help as on how we can go about this because we know it will need some funds and even children's destance adoption parents.

1st April was a very exciting day in my village. Parents were in class embarking on a life changing Programme. They commenced their classes as they were placed in grades according to their abilities.
72 parents characterized with 90% of women were enrolled in school at Framar School of Excellence. They are responding very well to learning and we are hopeful that our objective shall be met.
They have strongly put up a challenge that they want to be wearing uniforms so that they really look like students. It is a fair request especially that it is coming from them.

Many families have been affected by Malaria and HIV/Aids in Wakitaka. Having discussed the problem of Malaria, the youths are eager to get involved in fighting Malaria in their community.
Some few families consider buying a mosquito net for a mother who is pregnant. But after giving birth, the families rarely consider buying one for the children. Many parents use mosquito nets while their children do not. A net costs about 4$ sometimes 5$ and very few families in Wakitaka are using any measure to prevent Malaria.
The school stands to be in need of its own land to build up classes which can ease the poor conditioned structure that children are learning from at the moment Neighbours can look into this fact and find out possible ways of raising funds to purchase land and build our own school which can later or sooner serve a full primary school. In Kenya a full primary school needs up to eleven rooms.
