If you have started a school, share your experience of the start-up process.
Why did you decide to start a school, how did you encourage the local community to support you? What went well, what unexpected challenges did you face, what would you do differently?
If you are thinking of starting a school or education project, request advice from others here.

I am Adnan khan.Recently,I've started a school & vocational training center for females where I felt to educate & teach them various skills.School is working on primary and secondary education while vocational training center is providing different opportunities to students to learn use of computer, understand different international languages & prepare clothes and other items during joining cutting & sewing classes.
Computers, sewing machines and furniture is bought on self finance.Rented place has been arranged with long term agreement but now the different problems arise & need to be finished as in their complications I'm confused & I'd like to ask nabuurs if they can help me out? Institution is working freely & organizer is on the base of middle class can't afford teachers pay, rent of building every month electricity & phone bills & so other expenditures which are the need of institution.
About students they come from poor families can't pay for learning & most important factor which makes females behind, difference in between son & daughter. That's what female is underestimated in majority of cases in local community.Already, females are quite behind in native inhabitant if these institutions don't help them to be educated & skillful. One can well imagine the dismal future of innocent & depressed females who're crying for help in today's world which has become a global village.
If they are permitted to get education & be skillful they'll be able to earn their livings independently & spend their lives freely. That all is then possible when they could continue their studies & different skills in that institutions which can provide them opportunities to participate actively in modern world & be as free as air.
But asking from nabuur will these institutions be able to survive for a long period of time? If yes,so how? If no,so which steps should be taken for the long period of time institution's continuity?

Hi Daniel,
Great to see you around here. Nabuur cannot help you by sending money, material or whatever. What neighbors can help you with is giving answers and advice to your questions. So please feel free to use this group to discuss the challenges you encounter in setting up your child centre with other neighbors. Also have a look at the posts below about Teach a Men to Fish. Your questions are moste welcome.
Welcome,
Maria
