Great tips on these sites. At the end of the day, you need to remember that social media is primarily 'social' so mix it up with your posts in terms of seeking support and contributing good content. This way, you are more likely to engage people. Look for people or agencies in the search function that you think can help you and follow them. When you do this, check out via their profiles who is following them. Spend a little time scouting about 3-5 people new to follow who could be good network links for you and your charity. Posting useful, valuable and informative links and content are key to getting participation in social media such as Twitter. Any volunteers you work with, if they like spending time online, engage them in developing your social media. Social media can be time consuming. Tools can help to make you more efficient.
