General Communication & Updates

Status: Just started

This is a space for communicating general information/updates specifically related to the Nabuur governance group.

Hi everyone,

It has been a while since I contributed to any topic. I take this opportunity to thank all nabuur volunteers who have contributed brilliant ideas which are intended to make the organization effective. Dear volunteers time is of essence thus Nabuur is of age, not only to concentrate on coming up with excellent ideas but to implement on the excellent ideas already on the table and if not, Nabuur will lose its sense of existing.

Dear Pelle,

Thanks for the updates. It sounds great. I can observe some good ideas & can imagine some constructive efforts for putting an active life in Nabuur's tired soul.

I hope, Jennifer will do her best as well. She's a well known customer to deal in various situations.

I'll be also the part to join your group very soon & write stories about my village.

I'll ask Jennifer, if we can work about my village (Kohat).

Just let you know, on coming Sunday, I may be in Islamabad for my school work (I may spend some days, there ) & then I'll be back to work actively for my village , Kohat & for Nabuur.

Wish you all the best with your numerous efforts,

Adnan Khan

Hello Everyone,

It has been a long time since I last contributed anything.Good news is that We now have our internet connection.
I have spent the last week updating myself with the so many changes and discussions that have been taking place on Nabuur and I should say so much has changed. I would have posted my first contribution last week, but as you might have heard by now, we were having our Presidential elections.
We voted on Tuesday and we finally managed to get the results in the early hours of Friday. From Tuesday until then uncertainty seemed to have taken over everything. Most people failed to report for work and the school going children gave themselves a week long holiday and no one seemed to ask them why.
But thank you God our country seem to have nurtured our democracy as the will of the people prevailed. And as they say 'the rest is History'.
The Celebrations that took place is another story and I am yet to see a country out do us in these celebrations.
Anyhow, I really commend Pelle on his well thought out article and I am looking forward to the stories he has compiled to celebrate 10 years of Nabuur.com
