When it comes to guides, I would say keep it as simple as possible, ideally each one being not more than two or three pages.
I am sure there must be websites out there that go into more detail for those that want it, and if we can find those we can provide links to them.
As well as online documents/guides, facilitators may need some more personal support especially when they are new to the role, or when there are difficulties in their village.
We already have the Facilitator Group, but it needs a few people to commit to keeping an eye on it and answering questions as they come up. It can also be helpful to be able to chat directly with another facilitator instead of swapping messages in a discussion. So either we have formal 'buddy' system of some kind, or we find ways to link up for chat via the Facilitator group as required.
A group of people need to be responsible for recruting and training of facilitators too.
Maybe we also need to work out which villages need a facilitator and which can/should run without one. That is an area where we would need input from Local Reps too.
The biggest issue I see with the Facilitator Group and with recruitment/training is that many of us don't have the time to do this alongside all the village-related work we do already. I do not know what the solution is, unles we can find people who want to work more specifically in this role.
