Thanks so much for reporting this bug! The people posting in the closed task appeared to be new candidate local representatives. When opting to start the registration of their Village, they ended up in this closed task.... a nasty bug that we found because of your question. Kester, Frans and myself have had some stressy hours, but managed to solve the problem yesterday at the end of the afternoon :-)

I have no idea how long it bas been there, but have just noticed a tab on the My Nabuur screen called Mobile Settings. What does this do?

One for the 'fix it one day' list I suspect - when uploading a new image to your profile it would be great to be able to select which bit was displayed. I have just ended up with half my head chopped off and had to use a different shaped version of the picture!

Hi Mary,

Good catch; that seemed to be an upgrade glitch.

Frans has fixed the issue and only the Local Reps are now able to see the 'mobile settings' (which are used for them to register their mobiles and update their villages via SMS).

Regarding the image cropping, Frans has added it to the list and it will be looked into as soon as possible (likely for next month's priorities).

Somtimes I recieve strange private messages in my nabuur mail box. I supose from people who think I am a naive woman (which I am not). I know I can block these users but is there also a possibility to report the users, to avoid that other nabuur volunteers getting into trouble? I think it will be good if their is a person who is in charge of checking the saftey of the site and help prevent scams and indecent requests. Is there such a person or an other way to report these kind of requests to?

I have had several like this over the last few days too. I report them to Romina as she can delete the users from the system. As far as I know there is no other way to report them - maybe we need a 'report user' type option.

I received the same email as the first one just today as well as many other similar ones. I know I can block, but I would like to see a 'report abuse' button or something of that nature so that people abusing Nabuur can be reported and removed if necessary.

Sometimes neighbours post their contact details for good reason and end up having these strange messages going straight to their personal email.Therefore it is important that there should be guidelines on how to use the site and to avoid these dangerous pitfalls
This neighbour recieved hatemail which she deleted straigh away but also messages like above and is reconsidering her participation on nabuur.
here is an example of one message:

Hi- I was wondering if someone could explain to me how the "reads" number is calculated on each post? Is it by "unique visitor"? or does the number go up each time I read the same post? I'm just curious as to why some posts only have 1 read then the one above might get 12 reads. How does it work?
