Thanks Romina! If the new site will have a similar country search function, I wonder if countries could be added automatically when a village comes online from one that is not already on the list?
Pelle, whatever you and Frans did appears to have worked for now as the site is running quicker tonight. Thanks, and hope you are over your flu, one of the hazards of winter!

Hi, is it possible for ones draft to be automatically saved so they can get back to it incase of anything? I have tried several times to reply to a question and after writting my "essay" for a good 45mins lol and on submiting, there i get a msg that the page doesnt exist or something. ooops!!! i got to do it again and that isnt funny and i end up not bothering. Please help as dont think that the problem is on my side as it doesnt happen with anyother websites. Thank you.

Hi Joanne
I often have that problem too, and it is VERY frustrating! My solution is to write my posts somewhere else, where i can save them as I go along e.g. Notepad, Word etc, then once complete I paste them into a Nabuur post. That way, if the message fails to post I have not lost anything and can try again. Not an ideal solution, but it works OK for me.

Joanne,
When this happens next...pause for a few seconds...do not panic...click the 'back' button to go back one page...this will open the page you were typing on...copy the contents that you were typing to a temporary .txt file on your desktop...once this is done, you can get back to the page you want to type on, and just paste back from the temporary file...and submit...if it still fails to submit, repeat this process again. This works for me.

I had this email too and reported it to Romina. She had also received a copy and is checking with Frans to find out what it means.

One such email received by me connects with something I did to clear up some clutter in my account. What have you people done to receive this email?
Vijai
Hi everyone,
I checked with our tech team to see what this email is about. Please hang tight, we'll post a reply as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Romina
I got it too this AM. Sent it straight to SPAM.
I have noticed for the past 3 weeks that the number of people online at anygiven time is around 100. Right now it is only 40! Untill lately, it would run around 200 and even above. I am wondering why the drop.
Many reasons could account for this Ken. Some people have already closed for xmas seasons and others are busy writing end of year reports.

Hello all,
In the first place my apologies for the email from the Neighbors list last Friday. It was my fault, and it should not have happened. You can just ignore/delete that email.
For a long time Nabuur wanted to be able to send announcement to everyone who has signed up on the site. Now we have set it up with an email robot, who can handle sending, subscribing and unsubscribing very well.
Of course we have to give you the possibility to decide if you want that kind of emails from nabuur. It was already possible to do this by mail, but it is somewhat cumbersome. Now we have made it possible to (un)subscribe on the site.
When you go to the My Nabuur page and click on the edit tab you will see an extra block as shown on this post. Here you can change the subscription for the mailing list.
The NABUUR announcements list has very occasional messages about NABUUR of interest to everyone, you are encouraged to stay subscribed.

Hi Vijai,
The link you gave me only leads to one comment. Is there a thread? How did you get here?
Will look into it further.
