Storytellers wanted for Wakitaka and Kisozi
Hi everyone,
There are two stories waiting to be told and we're hoping a couple of our talented storywriters will snap these up. :-)
1. Wakitaka
Esther, facilitator for Wakitaka, gives an overview of the situation in Wakitaka: "We have started with the project "1 goat per child". This week, 10 goats were purchased and 10 orphans/very poor children received their goats.
There are photos of it in our gallery on http://www.nabuur.com/village/kisozi and on our website http://www.hopealiveuganda.org
The idea is to give each child a goat and give them the opportunity to breed goats and become self sustainable and be able to pay school fees, buy food etc.
2. Kisozi
From facilitator Maria: "Is anybody interested in writing a story about the youths of Wakitaka? http://www.nabuur.com/en/village/wakitaka
They are doing a great job to generate income for their youth group; they sold their first chicken now, an irrigation drip system has been installed for their vegetable project and they also got six goats that look pretty funny (have a look in the gallery of the village).
It' s an amazing group of young motivated people, therefore we would like to have a story about the success of this project
If you can write about these stories, please contact Maria and/or Esther - and also drop a line in the storytelling group to let us know you're working on these stories.
Thanks, everyone!
Romina
EDIT My oops - Esther is facilitator for Kisozi, and Maria is the facilitator for Wakitaka. My apologies! (Thanks Esther for pointing out this mistake ;))

Ehm, sorry Romina, but I am facilitator for Kisozi and Maria is facilitator for Wakitaka!
Esther
Ugh, nice catch Esther. Apologies. Not enough coffee was had that day! ;)
