Status: Stalled

Bethany Youth Association (BETHANY) is a registered Community Faith Based Organization working in the Soroti district of eastern Uganda. BETHANY exists to help youth affected by poverty, HIV, and war to rebuild their lives and regain their independence.

Vocational skill training in carpentry, computer literacy and Internet access are becoming an essential part of life in Uganda providing access to life skills, information and to increased employment and education opportunities.

To meet this need, BETHANY have decided to set up a vocational training center in carpentry, tailoring, brick laying, metal welding, computer training and Internet café to serve the local youth, the population of Soroti town and its surrounding areas. The centre will be called the BETHANY Community College and IT Centre.
