We would like to brainstorm all feasible options for bringing electricity to the school.

It appears that there is no electricity in the region from the electricity distribution system, but if this is available, the local authorities could be contacted to provide the necessary cabling to connect the school with the distribution system.
In case this is not feasible, solar energy is a cheap option, where only initial costs are involved and operating costs are negligible. The hardware will include solar photo-voltaic (SPV) modules and associated equipment.
A search on nabuur for 'solar' might reveal clues about likely sources of supply in your region, costs, donors, etc.
