Bukoggolwa Secondary School
The Bukoggolwa Secondary School is registered as a private institution, located in central Uganda. The area is largely populated by young children, who are mainly orphans due to HIV/AIDS, with single mothers or elderly guardians.
The school was set up with the intention of giving children options for meeting future challenges that they may encounter and as a way of promoting activities throughout the community to meet their needs (a self sustained community).
This project focuses on making secondary education accessible to everyone in the community, as the numbers in enrollment have grown but the facilities (one small building) and resources are not enough.
In brief, the Bukkoggolwa Secondary School is in need of resources ranging from school supplies, tools, equipment, transportation options, structural facilities (classrooms, staff housing, and electricity), and self-maintaining activities.

One step at a time.
Step 1 - focus on self-sustenance in food for all members. Nothing else can be achieved till the community members reach self-sustenance in food.
Step 2 - creation of infrastructure like school, transportation, staff housing etc will be comfortably attempted by the community only after they have achieved Step 1.
