Dear neighbours
-our first step is that find the way of how the children can a long term sustainability ,
- find out how the education center can obtain a textbook for the schoo
-The community of Bukokholo has donated a piece of land to the school we are looking well wishes friends and organization that can assist the community to build a permanent class room for the children. For this task we like neighbours to assist as of how we can get the organization that can do fund raising to build a class room.
hope we can start with this as we continue and i like any neighbour who have ideas to add something he/she looks it is better for the children.
warmest regard
Judy
great,we have to define what kind of books we need. educational, or story books? can we have the address just incase we are fortunate to have people to donate items. i believe there is a mail delivery system there?the lland donated should be marked out properly, before we can raise enough funds to start the fencing before the building or what do we suggest? i would also like to know are red bricks more available than bricks made out of cement? please let us know all these details so we can know how to make use of the resources we have available to start instead of having a long wait, meanwhile we ahould all try and see if we can contact a few organisations for assistance. thank u all

Hi Judith and Christie,
Thanks for starting up the discussions again.
Just a reminder: This project is still in the preparation phase. The focus now is to come up with 3 or 4 concrete tasks that the neighbours can work on once the project has been fully defined.
If you have any questions, post them here or send them via email (please copy each other in).
Good luck :)
Romina
Hi Romina
Many thanks for your concrete reply in my post you will find that have set up three tasks that neighbours/volunteers can start defining the project. As you know we are in int rial rural of Kenya and this are and the government has never set even as single school in this areas the children walk more than 5kms to the public school and there is no any means of transport to take them to the public school.we need a permanent solution for this children to enable them in future live.
So I welcome any neighbour volunteer that can assist me on defining the project from what i have sent aready.
thank you very much for you corcern
Cheers
Judy
hi judy, i sent you a message but dont recall reading anything from you as regards it. i was just trying to see what tasks should be laid down , and requested to know what local materials we have on ground for the take off, labour availability. and i also mention marking the piece of land out for ease of identification.i will forward the two forms i have gotten for grant so you can fill them in yourself and see if we can work on getting funds. do you have a personal e-mail address i can reach you on?
