INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE: Meet the Busukuma Neighbours

You are most welcome to the Busukuma village here at Nabuur! We are so happy that you've chosen to be a part of our project. We hope that you will take a few moments to introduce yourself here. Tell us a little bit about yourself, your experience, your interest in our village and spend some time getting to know the other volunteers.

Busukuma is a village found in Uganda,ITS on high flat land and it is covered with trees.Most of the people speak Luganda their native language ,they are wellcomming people and they are happy all the time. This village suffered with wars during the early 80s and many of our relatives past away
people herebelong to Bantu group who originated from south africa.they eat matooke banana as thier main food.

Here some time people converse and say that if i was amember of parliament that they could get avoice there thatstosay i should say their problems there so that they get solved and that the mp they have only looks after him self. it shown inthe photo entitled community

As shown in the photo titled society you can see people on thetrench cooking there others sleep there and the water doesnot move you see , and this also leads to malaria because the waters are stagnant. Others say that they rear theirsmall fish there

Meet the neighbours

Dear neighbours,

I've been a facilitator of Busukuma as part of my job as Online Community Manager for NABUUR.COM.

Unfortunately, I have to leave the NABUUR Foundation as a result of its financial situation. That means that I also stop as a facilitator.

It was great working with you! We have reached some great results: there is a detailed report and action plan describing the local needs and what needs to be done to meet these needs. Last but not least, the people of Busukuma have learnt that people from other parts of the world care about them.

Thanks for the great time! I wish the people from Busukuma and the neighbours all the best in bringing this project to a successful end.

A new facilitator has not yet been found, but I trust that there will soon be a new candidate.
