Help the local volunteers to expand the Buterere Community Development Centre (BCDC).
BCDC provides local people with a space to heal and develop themselves + their skills.
BCDC focuses on low-cost, maximum-impact activities.
BCDC is entirely volunteer run.
People who were helped by BCDC may in turn contribute to it by offering their unique ideas and activities.
BCDC is a vibrant, fun and enjoyable place to be - both for local people and for local volunteers.
The idea behind BCDC is that healed, trained and self-loving people will know how to stay healthy and find creative and effective ways to make an income for themselves.
All that is needed really is to offer a space for healing, sharing experiences, training and exchange of ideas.
Let's help the local volunteers to expand their services sustainably !!!

I am pleased to inform you that Buterere Community has enroled 4-6 year children in Elementary classroom since September 2011. Now are in the 2nd term for the annual year 2011-2012.
We will inform you more about this project, share picture and report.

Dear all neighbours,
I am glad to update you about programs in Buterere.
We was working on establiment of BUTERERE Community development centre-BCDC.
In close collation with national and international NGOs, 17th, -19, October 2008, we organised STAND UP AND TAKE ACTION EVENTS 2008.
it all about International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Students in various Universities of Burundi, in primary and in secondary schools with leaders of society civil Organization met to show that they are against poverty; dependency, social and economic injustices. Participants declared achievement of MDGs goals. Several activities engaged various group of different age:
A.The date, 17-1October to 19 November, 2nd Drawing contest for Junior in Primary Schools was organised on them: ALL AGAINST MALNUTRITION DUE ON POVERTY”
