Hello everyone,
The online village has been fairly quiet lately. Therefore, I am writing this newsletter to update you all on what has been happening on the ground in Buterere, Burundi. From Jean-Claude, the LR, I have the following information:
A. Terimbere University (our higher school project)
We set up a team of 4 persons who are playing a role of Advisor to
assist us in planning for a University project. They help us to
produce best documents which will be presented to the Ministry for
approval of our University school.
With this group, we have completed the task:
-To draft University Status,
-To draft Academic Constitution
-To draft Adamic Chapters.
-To draft Academic Courses programs
B. The conference
**now scheduled for 17 October, 2009**
The goal of the conference is for ELECTING THE UNIVERSITY ORGANS,
AMEND THE UNIVERSITY DRAFTED DOCUMENTS AND ADOPT THEM by the General
Assembly as it is recommended by the Ministry of Higher Education and
Scientific Research.
Still, we are in need of approx. $500 for this conference
C. Studio recordings
In order to commemorate World Unity Day, Jean-Claude recorded a promotional song. It will also be used for the launching of CAYOU http://abc4all.net/local/burundi/celebration.htm
In order to start business Communication, advertising and ITC

For now, these are all the updates. Please ask any and all questions that you may have. Suggestions are always welcome!

My Goodness,
You have been very busy Anna and Jean-Claude. No wonder I have not heard from you concerning the information that I last requested. Congratulations on your speedy progress. Really I do think that you have done quite a bit in the last 3 / 4 weeks since we last chatted.
I have been busy myself learning to do a few more tricks on the last site that I showed you. It too is a Moodle and http://the3rdgoal.org is the link that you can find it at. There is much that I have been involved with and so much more that I have to do yet... a ton of work to do to it as well as fees that I have to finish also find funds to finish paying for etc... the site is really just under construction and none of the paperwork is complete in its entirety. Lots to do and lots of time to do it in ...
Plus I have not stopped assisting other NPO's up here .. its really been sort of hectic. So, I am very glad for you and your progress. Please do let me know if and when you are able to get the information that I last requested ...
I still need the :
Server IP address
Your Password for the FTP account and
I need the Database Password
All of these things will let me have access to the Root Directory where I can begin to upload things such as Themes, files, pictures, etc ...
Have a nice day both you and Anna,
