Innocent,

I am not sure I understand why your fax number as more diggits than the office line and does not start by 260?

Thx
Roger

Hello Roger,
Thanks for the information received. My fax number is an Efax number therefore, does not start with +260 and i receive fax as an email so it comes straight into my emailbox and read by efax messenger.
Otherwise,i feel i have made it simple now. Therefore, i revise the numbers as:
Phone no# +26099595476 or
+2601254141
Telefax +2601254141
Efax no as shown earlier.
Remember to indicate ATT: INNOCENT KALINDA MR in all incoming faxes.
Hope this will be of help now.
Thanks,
innocent.

Hi all,

I am experiementing with a new template for the website. Feedback on the proposal for the design is welcome too.

i have also updated the budget with a recent exchange rate. Less is needed !

Content is needed in several sections. In particular if we want the project to be credible, we need to describe what the education and health programmes will be.

Please add your two-penses.

Tatjana. Do you think you could email the sketch wit the colour?

thx
Roger

Dear Monique, Roger, Innocent & All,

Thank You all for the comments.
I was very busy whole last week until this morning, had an important presenation at work. Now I'm back to the 3d model and I'm sending it finished as soon as possible. For the weekend at the latest, hopefully before that.
I'm hoping that's ok with You.

Kind regards,
Tatjana

Hi innocent,

I am sure we can all contribute ( I can both in education and Health in particular HIV)

Just throw your thoughts in any order and let's have a brainstorming!

Hello Roger & Innocent,

Thank You both for the patience. I visited & registered on the website. I like it very much, especially the functional side of it, but I think the visual identity should be discussed. The pictures look fine, very soon we'll have the real ones.

Firstly, I definately agree that we need a logo. I could contribute to that when I finish the model. Then, the color values are not really matching the Zambian flag colors. Since there are four colors, it is not necescesary (after the design rules, so to speak) to have all of them on the website. I could suggest some color & layout combinations next week if you agree.

At the end, one tiny error Roger, in the headline it's written "Chibolya ...HEATH organization", instead on HEALTH. Please fix that.

Keep in touch,
Tatjana

Speaking of visual identity, I found one nice example. Please take a look:

Hi tatjania,

Comments noted ! I don't have the knowledge to design a template so what I have tried to do is to put together everything, colour, position (not a very good idea usually !).

I am not happy with where the "newsflash" currently look like (Top right) for example.

I like the PIRD website you mentionned because it is simple, though it is a bit darkish green for my taste (but taste...) and I'd like something fresher and breathing children's happiness (again my perception).

But if we can draft a Term of Reference for a template then I can put an Ad on the Joomla community or ask Nabuur to put an Ad on the UN online volunteer website and someone can do it.

Joomla is very flexible, keep in mind that every module can be moved somewhere else (more or less...) and that if we design a logo, we can put it in the top banner or elsewhere !

If you want a forum I can put one, later I will put a picture gallery, currently I am trying different options for that.

We can also have RSS feed by email, and many other options. If you have seen something on another website that you would like to see here let me know and I can search for it!

Importantly we need content !!!

Regards
Roger

Roger,
Can I help somehow in Dreamweaver concerning the template design?

It is possible but Joomla is a Content Management System which does not require any programming knowledge, that's why it is the best solution for people like Innocent and other contributors because they can add "content" without having to worry about the template and design part.

Also i sugested teh children could contribute to the website and that was one of my reason to chose Joomla because it works like a blog !

There is software that allow the creation of a template that can then be encoded into a Joomla format. But it is not free.

I have republished the "template chooser" menu. Go on line choose a template (try "made your web" )and then clcik Select. You can try different template, you will see the modules are punblished on different spaces. Javabeean is a nice one too. They may look a bit weird sometimes becasue f the position of the modules I have used specifically for teh Ryuku Template. Iw oudl have to move the modules if we choose another template but that is very easy ! If you want to knwo more I can give you administrator power and show you around behind the scene !

There are hundreds oif template and some of them are quite customisable
