My name is Onye. I can't find my earlier posts on this project. I had volunteered to register a domain name free and suggested www.ceho.org which was available. Once I am given a choice of domain name, I will register it free.

On the hosting, design and maintenance, I could provide quality and reliable hosting free as well. I am not a designer but I have successfully customised PHP-Nuke to use for different website projects and I believe the same could be done here. All I need to know is the content and where it will come from.

As for maintenance, I will also provide support for the website on an ongoing basis.

Please let me know what next and I will be quite happy to be part of this project in the ways I have written.

We started talking about this issue before the new Nabuur Website went online, and I guess it got lost in the tranfer! But no problem, The CEHO will provide Health and Education services and we need to describe what will be these service.

I think you wrote about it before, but for exemple do you know what will be taught, how and buy whom? Do you have exemple of something similar that is already being done in Zambia, maybe in a nearby community?

The same goes for the health programme. Will it be classes, services? information? And by who will these be delivered ?

I will move the Welcome message in a different section, it is there because there was no content, but when we will have content the front page of the site will look different !

You or anybody who is registered can submit content on whatever they see fit to the website (it could be local news!)

Innocent, I have not had any further response in respect of the domain name. Are we still interested in using a domain name that reflects the project ID. I believe www.ceho.org is still available. I am still prepared to register the domain at no cost.

Thank you for coming up again and you welcome.Basically we have a basic website created already which needs to improved.So i hope we can work on this and then advance it to paying plan or anything that can make move.We may add some content and do all we is required for iam not very conversant with building websites.Roger did suggest to use the one we have to update and one all mentioned was to move it somewhere.How can we do this onye?.Plse lets try our best dear to progress this so to catch and support.It is important to use the domain that reflects the project ID.Thank you for your eagerness to help nd be part of it.Hope to hear from you soon.

Hello Innocent.

I run an internet consultancy which includes web hosting. Everything I offer for the website is at no cost at all so no need to worry about that. So, if all agree I will register the domain www.ceho.org for 2 years and set up the hosting as well. I will provide all the ftp and control panel logins to you or whoever is designated to develop and manage the site. The site is looking good as it is so I don't really envisage much changes there. Let me know if I should proceed.

Hello All, I have just seen Roger's post in the shared task document where he commented on the cost implications. I own my internet consultancy and the domain will be registered free and the web hosting provided free as well. The domain www.ceho.org is still available so I can have this registered quickly at not cost to the project then Roger can move the site once it is set up. I hope this clarifies the position. I guess wee all need some time to get used to the updated navigation system through the web-site. I find it hard to see all the documents about Chibolya on one place, like the text for the website. I found it once, and I can't find it again. Any idea?

As I said on the other thread, if the name is available we shoudl go for it!

Then we will need hosting but I understand that Onye can provide it too? Onye could you confirm that? Do you provide PHP on your server?
