Welcome all of you being here.Mary thank you for the guide and its helpful.But i would like to get inactive ones out and how should i do it to remove them.We are moving forward and thank you for taking this role to help reps have replies.This is not a easy but i should thank you so much on behalf of other L/reps.

Hi Mirna,
Yes the site takes some getting used to. The best way is to look out for projects that you can help with. If you go to the top of the web page and click on the 'my nabuur' tab it will take you to any discussions that are ongoing in the villages you have joined. The urgent tasks are located on the right hand side of the web page. Just take it one project at a time and if you are interested in a project you can reply to it by clicking on the 'reply to task' button with how you can help. You can also click on 'join' at the top right hand side of the web page which will be under the name of the village the project is in and you will then be a neighbour of that village and get updates on that village in your 'my nabuur' tab. Hope that wasn't too long winded and was of some help.

I agree with Michelle, the site does take a little getting used to. It gets easier once you have used it for a while. To add to what Michelle has told you, Nabuur links communities in developing countries with online volunteers all over the world. Every community that is registered with Nabuur has a set of pages called a Village. Within that Village there are several sections - the Project Room lists all the tasks that the community is looking for assistance with. As well as seeing urgent tasks listed on the right hand side of the My Nabuur page, you can also find tasks you can assist with by looking at the Volunteer Opportunites and Villages pages. We are Monique (26) and Stefan (29), we are husband and wife since 6-10-01 (that explains the birthdate in our profile).

We live in Germany near the Dutch border. Monique is Dutch, Stefan is German.

We have a little daughter Pauline who will be 1 year old tomorrow. She will be raised speaking both german and dutch (we will atleast try so).

Iam happy to see and hear from you again.Iam okay and hope everyone is fine too.As you may not be aware that i was out of line for some time now due to some reasons at work,that i was working at a place where i could not access internet.Iam sorry for not responding to your questions and contributions etc.Iam now back and welcome to you all.Chibolya is in heavy rainfall and we are praying to have it a break as it 's becoming desastrous.

It's sad to inform you that we are hit with cholera disease in our district particulary areas surrounding chibolya village.I am afraid that we may be affected too since the control camp have been placed near chibolya.However, we are happy that stiff measures have been put in place to combat the disease.Health officials and medical staffs have been deployed to the areas of affection. Hi everybody!

I contacted the UNICEF and Cap Anamour to ask for help looking for funding. UNICEF told me to contact the local German office and Cap Anamour said that they wouldn't be funding projects in Zambia. But they gave me a link to a complete list of German NGOs. Here it is:

Happy iam to proclaim that the situation in chibolya has greatly improved as of today concerning the outbreak.Really it has been a sad moment and i thank you all for your prayers and kind words of encouragements.
Hope everything will come to normal by the end of this week.God is great to get things happen for the better.The weather is also getting better which might change things now.Stay tuned.
