Establish an african herbal garden of app. 15 by 40 cubic meters in order to farm the tradition knowedge of above herbals and from the materials in place of medicine from the materials making simple medicine to heal stomach and chest infections.
One wants preferable to carry out the activitie together with women volunteers and school puplils to share the benefits with the farmers owner and the consultant invo ved.

PLse our school will be closing for the third term on 4th dec,2008.Otherwise all running well.Zoaz has also reduced the number of children they support to 100 so we will have to look for sponsors for the rest of children not under their programe.Plse comments are welcome here to discuss.

On behalf of the community,the schools,and the children iam so delighted to thank you all most sincereely for your kind supoort in making such ahuge progress in chibolya that people have been looking for.There is plenty of safe clean drinking water now which have been long awaited for the past five years.Its now a history.The reason is simple just because of you.

As you are aware that of late i have been very busy of late,iam now completing the documents for KTCT which will be ready by wednsday or thursday also.I promise you all is well in regard to documention and accountability since iam personally monitoring all projects or activities done.

The proposal will need to be reviewed by the Board at Virtual. Carolyn will contact us if they have any additional questions. If approved, it may be a good time to initiate an individual sponsorship program for the children on CEHO’s website. Possibly something to work on at the beginning of 2010. :)

The volunteers have been quite as Marlene and Pei are taking time off in december. I have anyway also put in a request for more volunteers onto UNV site. Hopefully we will havre more people to write in to the list of sponsors that Marlene had located.

Iam so happy to let you know that our application with gear drive has been approved as confirmed by Kara Hartwell.Find copied email to all of you.

Will be getting the confirmation approval from customs office tommorrow.Thank you heather for your support in getting it thru.Crossroads has not yet communicated for the shipment after approving our appilication which i know are still working out modalities in sechudiling our shipment.Without you all ,all this wont be possible.We will be putting a sponsorship program on CEHO website once thru with Virtual.

We have not yet heard anything from KT CT in regard to our documents and i hope all was fine with them.I also emailed Mr.Martin who has not acknowledged any receipt.Hope they are still reviewing them.

Project update-We had a project monitoring and review exercise with the local officials in Mazabuka based on the water project recently completed.Iam proud to highlight that our performances are so much recgnised and have really made a very significant impact on the lives of people in chibolya.Recommended to apply for CDF funds .We need to continue looking for more sources so we can complete the second phase on the water project ie replacement of new water pipes in the main water line and fitting Gate valves for free movement of water since they are old.However,water is running well as per monitoring & follow up exercise done three days ago.

Ab any progress with volunteers recently recruited?.Plse update us so we know what is happening.More in the next update.

We have not heard anything also from ZOAZ of late over the bill of quantity and purchase detaails sent to them a week ago.They want to help us purchase the building we renting as a school so we can use it as a centre for all our programes in skills traning.Hope this will be succeeful too.Have been busy negotiating with the landlord and has accepted offering it for sale at 150,000,000zmk and this has been sent to zoaz as per request together with the bill of quantity.The rehabilitation of the main building can then be done later after the purchase.Thank you to all.

Regarding Virtual: We should hear from Carolyn shortly. Probably after the Christmas holiday.

As far as the second phase of the water project: Do you think the Rotary can help? If so, we can update our last PowerPoint presentation and contact Lucie.

I'm hoping the purchasing price of the building works out with ZOAZ, too. That was one of your main goals with CEHO. We could then find ways of generating income and create the awareness we need to expand into new areas.

So pleased to hear news about the approval of the application for sports equipment; a great initiative by Heather. And yes Heather, see if you can get Rotary interested in helping fund the ongoing expansion of the water project..

Interesting to read the lists developed by Abhinav and the good work you are doing with the new volunteers.

We all knnow the excellent work being done behind the scenes by Innocent which has resulted in such progress this year. The possibility of ZOAZ being able to help with the purchase of the building which is being used for the school is really exciting.

This time last year we didn't even have a facilitaor and there was little prospect of achieving what you have for the children. Well done to you all. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and wishing you health and happinness in the New Year.
