New Facilitator
On behalf of Dromankese village, I hereby welcomes Ms. Sabille Allgayer, a resident of England as the new Facilitator of Dromankese village.
As we all know, it has been quiet still in the village for some months now. Sabille and myself have promised to gear together, and of course with the help of our neighbours and friends to help accomplish these tasks which have not been tackled for a long period of time.
On behalf of Dromankese village, I appeal to you all to help us to work together to accomplish these open tasks to help the youth of Dromankese.
Together, we can finish these tasks. Please let your voice be heard.
Thanks in advance,
Alfred Atta / Local Representative
Dromankese

Achieving the MDG through Volunteering
World Volunteers Ghana
Dromankese Town Development Association has managed to establish a voluntary organisation, in it`s efforts to help the people in the rural and urban areas. These areas are deprived of development projects, ammenities and infrastratural changes taking place in some major towns and cities in the regional capitals of Ghana.
This volunteering initiative is to raise the awareness about the MDGs and also to link the youth, students and individuals who wants to take the opportunity to make the difference. Because after more than decades of failed international targets, it is now time to do things differently.
World Volunteers Ghana (WVGhana) is a registered youth-led and youth-focused, non-profit organization that is headquartered in Kumasi - Ghana and has a satellite office in The Netherlands. The organization is operated by young people and adults who are working on youth, environmental, health and development related issues in Brong Ahafo and Ashanti regions of Ghana. We work with all ages, all genders, and all ethnic groups in Ghana especially at the rural level. The group runs its objectives with the kind contribution of its members through labouring, concerned philanthropists, individual volunteers, social workers and others.
Aims and objectives

These challenges are not just one for governments. Individuals, Public and Social Organisations have an important role to play.
