Achieving the MDG through Volunteering

World Volunteers Ghana

Dromankese Town Development Association has managed to establish a voluntary organisation, in it`s efforts to help the people in the rural and urban areas. These areas are deprived of development projects, ammenities and infrastratural changes taking place in some major towns and cities in the regional capitals of Ghana.

The youth of Dromankese has embarked on a Diary Farm project in the village. The financial assistance was made available by a Dutch Humanitarian Organisation.

The Dromankese community has received four pregnant cows to start the ongoing diary project. The whole project was financialy sponsord by the Dutch Organisation Child Care Afrika with it`s office in Enschede.
This project is initiated together with the Local Representative Mr. Alfred Atta who represented the Dromankese Community to coordinate this project succesfully.
