Hi,
I think if you want any constructive help on this subject you've got to start by doing something yourself.
First - analyse the situation you are in and tell us about it. What facilities do you already have. What do you do now. Do you do it well. Is there spare capacity (People and places) to do more etc etc.
What is the environment that you live and work in. Is there scope for development. This is all standard opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses stuff. If anyone's done any business training they will know it.
Second - What is your vision of ICT. You must have one to come up with the project. Where do you want to be in 1 year, 5 years, 10 years.
This stuff doesn't have to be exceedingly accurate but to respond to your project with the details that I have is like casting about in fog but we can help in getting from where you are now to where you want to be.

You need remember that you are the leader of your project. If you want your project to move forward, you need to be very specific about providing all of the details necessary for volunteers here to know how to help you. Simply saying you want to focus on ICT for development is not enough. Geoff asked you some very specific questions in his post - I suggest you start there and answer those questions so people can gain a better understand of what it is you want to do, what resources you currently have available to you and how online volunteers scattered around the world can help you turn this into a reality. If you've come here expecting that Nabuur is going to provide funding to suddenly make this ICT center a reality - then unfortunately you've misunderstood the purpose of the organization. Your project will only move forward and progress with you in the driver's seat. You need to think about what it is that needs to happen and communicate that. Not everything will be able to be accomplished here. Without substantial work of you and your organization on the ground and detailed consistent communication with volunteers, you will not find results here. We cannot hand you the things you want on a silver platter - you have to be specific about what needs to be done. Right now there is no one working on this task because you've not been specific with what needs to happen in order to take the first steps toward making it a reality.
Start with answering Geoff's questions and we'll go forward from there.

On a meeting held on 20th October 2010, Members, Staff and Board of Kirc foundation-Ghana propose to start the the Contruction of the ICT Center on the December 2010

RESOURCE AVAILABLE
Labour: The Community has decided to provide labour for the start till completion of the project.
Kirc Foundation will provide for water and food for workers
TARGET GROUP
The project will benefit 1000 or more people in the community .this include student who want to improve on their lessons tought at school,Junior High School leaver,Senoir High School leaver ,Street children,Orphans and other youths in KEEA Municipality.
Kirc foundation applied to computer aid international for 50 computers to start the ICT Training center in Elmina.The organization application has been confirmed and Computer aid international has decided to send the 50 computers to Ghana.We need help in settling the shipping fees and other cost of the 50 computer to enable as get the computer for the ICT for Development project.I hereby attach a copy of the invoice send to me by Computer aid international.You can go there to help pay the shipping and other related cost.
