Thanks to the hard work of Gamauli Local Representative, Min Shahi, the students and teachers at Krishna Primary School will soon have access to fresh water on the school grounds. During Min's last visit to Gamauli, he visited the local market and talked with a man about running water from the market water tank down the mountain to the school. They agreed on terms and Min worked tirelessly to mobilize local resources who agreed to provide the finances necessary. A kind donor in Australia provided substantial support for the project as well. We are happy to report, a few weeks ago construction began.

Min will soon be traveling back to Gamauli for a long visit to help complete not only the water project, but start work on reconstruction and expansion of the school toilets.

As promised at the start of the new year, BIG changes are on the way for Krishna Primary School this year. We look forward to sharing more pictures of the progress very soon!
