Min emailed a brief update this morning about how things are going at the school.

Thanks to a kind donor from Australia, AUD 2500 has been given toward the continuation of the Friday Celebration Program and payments for a teachers. This program continues to prove very effective with students attending and staying the entire day even if they do not attend school in other days. Attached are some pictures drawn by the students.

A school building is under planning and will be started by Nov. 2011. Kind support of all volunteers and donors is expected at this time. It has been decided that a new building is to be constructed with labor being contributed by members of the local community. This decision is a result of a discussion with the local community.
