Project Proposal writing.
I would like to request any one to help on project proposal writing on how to take care of the people living with HIV/AIDS but the orphans.

Welcome to Nabuur!

As you will have seen from the home page, Nabuur links communities in developing countries (known as Villages) with online volunteers from around the world (known as Neighbours). The Village Local Representative (LR)decides how they would like volunteers to assist them, and splits these needs up into a series of Tasks. Tasks are listed in the Project Room section of the village.

Nabuur is not currently accepting registrations from new communities, so at the moment you cannot seek assistance for your own project. If you wish to be informed when registration reopens, you can leave your email address at http://www.nabuur.com/en/assistance-your-community

You are of course very welcome to help other villages as an online volunteer. Through doing this, you may be able to meet and learn from people who are doing similar things to you.

This village is Gamauli in Nepal. If you click on Project Room, you will see all the tasks for Gamauli. The other pages in a village give background information about the community and the organisation that is running the project, show the latest news etc.

If you decide that you wish to assist with any of Gamauli's tasks, it is a good idea to join the village as a neighbour. To do this, click on the Join link on the right hand side of the page. When you join a village, all posts to that village are listed on your My Nabuur page, which makes it easier to follow the discussion.

To find tasks in other villages, you should look at the Volunteer Opportunites page, and the Villages page where you can search for villages in specific countries or for specific interests. Some villages are active and others are not - it is a good idea to start with one where there has been recent activity. Also take a look at the Groups page where you can meet people who share similar interests e.g. education or agriculture.

I see that you are in Uganda, and have knowledge of computers. You might be interested in getting involved with Gulu village who are hoping to set up a computer training centre. See http://www.nabuur.com/en/village/gulu/project
There are also several other active projects in Uganda.

The site can seem rather confusing at first, but it does get easier as you get more familiar with it, so please take some time to explore!

I am currently the facilitator for Buchanan village (a primary school in Liberia). I have been a volunteer with Nabuur for a while, so you have probably seen me around the site.

Because of the reorganisation, Nabuur is not recruiting and training any new facilitators at the moment. However it is possible for a village to run successfully without a facilitator as long as you are able to keep things updated.

I can help you tidy things up, and tell you more about how to use the site so that you are more able to do things yourself - feel free to send me a Private Message if you would like me to do that.

Yeah am am so impressed.Actually am not yet facilitating any village but thinking of starting a project in the short run and now the challenge i will be having will be of how to start with a project proposal writing and funds to run it.Otherwise am interested in participating where necessary.
