Through their determination and hardwork the have passed their primary school leaving examinations and only USD400 dollars separates them from going into Grade 8. Their school places will only be reserved for them until the end of February. The $400 will be used to pay their annual school fees and other school incidentals such as school uniforms, jerseys, shoes and vital books and pens. Because of their background, these two boys are now being looked upon as role models by the others who come to the social centre ,especially Gibson who wrote his primary school leaving examinations a year earlier! Their continued stay in school will mean a lot not only to themselves but to the other kids in the neighbourhood of Garden Township in Lusaka.
