Fundraising has started on GiveMeaning
Status: 
Thanks to everyone who helped us get 100 votes for our project on GiveMeaning. We reached our goal and now the fundraising has started. You can help by either donating at yofoso or telling your friends and colleagues. Louis and Gibson are students who have shown amazing potential over the past 2-3 years and have successfully passed their last exams. They now lack the funds to go to Grade 8. We need to raise $400 to pay their yearly school fees.

How we have moved.I did not think we would come this far this soon
We are almost there,but not yet there.

course,that while we had 30 days when we started today we have only 11

The school year has already begun in Zambia and whilst Louis and Gibson are still unable to pay their school fees they haven't let this get in their way. They continue to follow the curriculum over ischool.zm, a website where the Zambian school curriculum is available. Their place is at school though and the intent is to make sure they can sit in the classroom with their school mates.
Donations can be made at yofoso and please let your friends, colleagues, family, church, social club etc know that this will make a big difference not only to the two boys but to the other youth in Garden.

Yes everyone the count down has started and so far so Good...
The boys are staying at home the whole,from morning until they sleep while
there peers are going to school.
Though the boys are following the schoolwork on the internet, a look at them
tells you that they two are really missing the school environment and also
other school related activities.
Your donation will really make a great difference and impact on them.

GREAT news everyone- this morning I checked GiveMeaning and we have reached 100% of our goal. Thanks to all the VERY generous donors we now have the $440 we need to get Louis and Gibson to Grade 8.

We have finally received the payment from GiveMeaning.
The two boys have assured me that in everything the do they will put school first.
