MARKETS FOR JEWELRY AND ART WORKS
The Turning Point program involves working with vulnerable young people in Githurai, Kenya and it's environs. The project has developed three projects to assist in realization of the program goals.
The exciting Jewelry and Art work project is one of the projects, the program has developed hence it involves more than seven vulnerable young people who are young single mothers & other unemployed youths whereby they make various kind of Jewelry & art work ranging from necklace, bracelets, earrings, chains, paintings, drawings, decorations, shopping baskets and many more hence are made of local materials.
The local youths have managed to make various items and sell them at the local market in small quantity hence not sustaining to the project young people involved. Thus we kindly request for the support to access international & regional markets thus making the project & young people involved sustainable thus realizing the program goal of Nurturing, Empowering and Transforming local vulnerable youths.
What we need:
1 International markets to sell arts and crafts
2 We have received donations from an international NGO in Amsterdam with of 12 sewing machines but we now need organizations to support this initiative with refurbished tools
